Heath Care bill needs a do over...  09/08/10 10:33:58 AM

Anytime politicians pass a bill in a hurry, and don't seem to want the public to know what is in it, there is a reason, it's a lousy piece of legislation.  That is the case with the Healthcare bill that passed Congress.  No one knew what all was in it, even the author of the bill, a Senator from Montana did not read it.  You really wonder who wrote this thing.  And fact is, Congress jammed it through.  Now the mess starts.  Already we are learning that people's current health coverage will be taxed.  That amounts to a huge pay cut for a lot of people who can't afford.  We also know that despite promised by the President to the contrary, our current health insurance is going up.  And no one realized all the new taxes layered into the bill that start the first of the year.  Just about anything you buy will be impacted.
So as I say, there is a reason that politicians don't want an open debate on a bill--its a bad bill.  This healthcare bill is a real clunker.  Just like the "cash for clunkers", but that's another story.
