Snow, blowing snow and strong winds combined to produce blizzard conditions over portions of the east-central plains, the western and northern Midwest region during Friday. Travel and transport is likely to be affected. Rain or showers occurred elsewhere in the eastern Midwest region Friday. The Southern Plains region and the Delta also saw strong winds today but with mostly dry conditions.
